Good grief, I cannt believe some of you girls have almost finished
these - see what I mean, I would still be thinking what to do and how to do it. I will enjoy seeing the finished projects.

Being new to all this, does it mean if it's done you can send. Don't get excited Maria it's far from that stage. Hoping to get started this weekend, so best get my box on the way home today.

Rae if you want to send when your finished that's fine otherwise we can both send them when there both finished.....
I tend to take about two weeks to finish something especially if it's a swap only because I take my time and don't want to mess it up....

Noriels is partly done - need to finish the decorating and I need some time to collect some goodies to go inside.

nearly finished but not sure i'm happy. so might make another one and see how i feel about that one.

I made a practise one last night.

The first one I did the pp was thick and it didnt turn out as well as the second one with thinner paper.

Yeah I had the same kind of problem with the paper I used a webster's paper on mine but for my swap one thinking of a prima one and they are alot thicker.... I might give it a go trying Maree's method of doing templates for each piece as the one she gave me looks gorgeous.....

My practise one is on my blog, girls don't forget to take your photos before you send them out.....

Are we covering this in fabric or paper?

Peggy, u can cover mine in any thing you like....

Did you do yours in paper first? I keep thinking fabric, or a combination of both...

paper for the first one.. i find it easier if you pull a box apart and make a template and if you have any bits hanging over to sand paper them off... I hope this is a help
