A shabby sewing inspired Noodle box swap
Hi Girls,
Well seeing that our matchbox swap is almost complete I thought I would get another swap going this one will be a shabby sewing inspired noodle box swap, seeing that I love the one that Maree just sent thought it would be a fabulous little container to alter.....
But more importantly a fun little thing to fill up with anything sewing related for eg
laces
ribbon
material like the little quilt squares you can get at Spotlight
Pieces of tulle
Embroidery cottons in her favourite colour's,
Pins
buttons
and anything that a girl can use in her crafting.....
Also we could put in one special little item that isn't sewing related like some pretty flower's, crackle paint, hardware etc.....
Will do signs until the end of May I'm going to post this on my blog as well and see if we can get any more people in it.....
When your given your partners name one of the things to ask first are fave colour's but also what kind of images she likes eg birds, Paris, gorgeous men lol so that will become part of making it look gorgeous.....
Re: A shabby sewing inspired Noodle box swap
And of course I had better start by putting myself on the list...

Re: A shabby sewing inspired Noodle box swap
What kind of a noodle box? Is there a picture of one finished?
Re: A shabby sewing inspired Noodle box swap
Hi Peggy,
This is a noodle box that has been altered by Maree I just received this one yesterday....
For posting overseas you could always alter it leave it unfolded so your partner could make it up, might be a lighter way to send it as well....
Hope it helps....

Re: A shabby sewing inspired Noodle box swap

Re: A shabby sewing inspired Noodle box swap
Peggy I thought we could have a post out date mid to late June just so we don't have to rush trying to make one....Especially as alot of the girls work.
And great will add you to the list will assign partners on the 1st of June.....
Nice to have you swapping with us......

Maree did you get your noodle boxes from Spotlight? I'm going to get a few and have a practice run first......
Re: A shabby sewing inspired Noodle box swap
yeah I got mine from Spotlight.. I undid mine and made templates, of the different sides.. I made these with school kids many years a go and I found this to be the easiest way..
You may find an easier way yourself..
